Education Qualifications:Graduate from an accredited respiratory care/ respiratory therapy program.

Join Essentia Health's Sleep Lab Team and work within all aspects of sleep disorder testing. 

You will be responsible for the performance of all aspects of sleep disorder testing performed on pediatrics through adults.

Responsibilities include:

Patient screening and scheduling by phone,Perform polysomnograms,Perform patient education during and after patient admission,Participate in case review and treatment plans with physicians, andArrange the prescribed patient home therapy.

Schedule: 7:00p - 7:00a, 3 nights per week

Additional Information:

$7500 Sign On bonus

$5/hr Perm night shift differential

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:Successful completion of a polysomnography program associated with a state license and/or nationally accredited education facility and documented proficiency in all required competencies of a polysomnographic technician

OR  

If no education then must have 1 year of experience as a sleep lab tech and must complete education requirements within 1 year of hire or transfer

AND

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of hireCertification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or equivalent within 1 year of hire or transfer; Employees hired before January 1st, 2018 are exempt from this requirement .
