Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) to join our sleep medicine team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in conducting, scoring, and reviewing sleep studies (PSG and HSAT), educating patients, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. This role requires a balance of technical expertise and compassionate patient interaction, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
+ Conduct overnight and home sleep studies (PSG and HSAT) in accordance with AASM guidelines.
+ Score and interpret sleep studies with precision and consistency.
+ Educate patients on sleep study procedures, equipment usage, and follow-up care.
+ Maintain and calibrate sleep lab equipment to ensure optimal performance.
+ Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
+ Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and internal policies and procedures.
+ Document patient interactions and study results accurately in EMR systems.
Required Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Current RPSGT certification.
+ Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sleep lab or clinical setting.
+ Proficiency in scoring polysomnography and HSATs.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ High attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
+ Proven reliability and dependability in clinical settings.
+ Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and EMR systems.
+ Familiarity with general office equipment and technology.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.50 - $40.00/hr.
