JOIN MUNSON HEALTHCARE’S SLEEP MEDICINE TEAM!

Full-time |    Monday – Friday   |   Call-Sleep Center Only

Munson Healthcare’s Sleep Disorders service line, an AASM accredited sleep center, is seeking a BE/BC Sleep Medicine physician to join their team. This full-time position, split between Traverse City, Cadillac and Manistee, is Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays and is sleep center call only.  The ideal candidate is attracted to a busy practice and interested in becoming a vital part of Munson’s sleep medicine team.

Ready to make a difference? Position Duties Include:

Performs consultations and downstream care for patients who have obstructive sleep apnea and insomnia.Orders and understands diagnostic tests and tools, including home sleep tests for patients.Prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments for sleep apnea and insomnia.Educates members about sleep health and ensures ongoing care.Communicates and collaborates with referring providers.Interprets sleep studies performed in Traverse City, Manistee and Cadillac locations.Cadillac-4 bed lab, Manistee-2 bed lab.

 

Standard Qualifications

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Sleep MedicineMI license or eligible for medication licensure in the State of Michigan
