Full-time | Monday – Friday | Call-Sleep Center Only Munson Healthcare’s Sleep Disorders service line, an AASM accredited sleep center, is seeking a BE/BC Sleep Medicine physician to join their team. This full-time position, split between Traverse City, Cadillac and Manistee, is Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays and is sleep center call only. The ideal candidate is attracted to a busy practice and interested in becoming a vital part of Munson’s sleep medicine team. Position Duties Include: + Performs consultations and downstream care for patients who have obstructive sleep apnea and insomnia. + Orders and understands diagnostic tests and tools, including home sleep tests for patients. + Prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments for sleep apnea and insomnia. + Educates members about sleep health and ensures ongoing care. + Communicates and collaborates with referring providers. + Interprets sleep studies performed in Traverse City, Manistee and Cadillac locations. + Cadillac-4 bed lab, Manistee-2 bed lab.
