Adecco is currently assisting one of its clients in their search for a General Production Associate (Intermediate Level) in De Pere, WI! Pay rate: $20/hr Shift availability: Monday – Friday 6am – 4pm Location: De Pere, WI **Summary** Provides material handling and preparation support for producing accurate quality and quantity of recycled paper stock for mill customers. **Position Responsibilities:** + Maintain a clean and safe work environment. + Consistently demonstrates and incorporates principals of safety for self and others into daily activities. Attends required safety training and participates in emergency drills and exercises. + Reports all safety and quality problems to the Production leads or Production Manager. + Inspect machines for safe operation + Checking vehicle and trailer to ensure the mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order + On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment as necessary + Safely load, unload, move, stack, and stage sorted raw materials using a forklift, or other power industrial equipment as necessary + Perform quality inspections of materials, grading properly, and ensuring that the delivery is completed as requested and that the order meets company and industry standards. + Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion + Consistently maintains acceptable level of productivity. + May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned. **Essential skills and experience:** + Ability to show up for entire scheduled shifts + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand/walk/bend/ lift continuously and perform physical tasks + Ability to operate various machines as required. + Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions. + Ability to work independently or in a group. + Strong attention to detail. **Must Have** + Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently. + A high school diploma or GED is preferred. + Entry level with little or no prior manufacturing production experience required. + Must be willing and able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as requested. + Must submit pre-placement background check. + Occasional climbing/balancing. + Requires continuous standing and frequent lifting/carrying, stooping/bending/squatting/pulling/pushing, twisting of the trunk and neck, reaching and grasping/squeezing. + Steel Toes shoes required As a reminder, this role is being recruited for by one of our National Recruitment Teams and not your local Branch.
