POSITION SUMMARY:
Ensures plant is in organized and clean shape. Continually reviews plant via Golden ^ inspections and makes needed corrections to cleanliness. Works alone in the plant during assigned shift and is continually checking sanitation/production status while ensuring other sections of the plant are running smoothly. Works with Maintenance as needed for tank cleanings. Assists with production as needed.
Key responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Maintain cleanliness of the facility on a daily basis.
• Work with Master Sanitation schedule to ensure compliance with Quality department.
• Partake in Golden 6 program for food safety cleanliness.
• Work with Maintenance as needed to ensure proper tank cleaning, and documentation.
• Assist in Production as needed, cross training as experience is gained within the manufacturing aspect of the plant, as outlined below.
• Monitors the levels of approximately 150 tanks. Knows the vinegar flow in and out of the tanks.
• Monitors the production by taking and checking physical samples on the autotitrator, Alkomat and other test devices and makes adjustments to ensure production remains efficient.
• Monitors two Koch filtrations units, reversing the flow as schedules once per shift
• Monitors nutrient levels in the feed tanks. Mixes batches as needed to maintain adequate supply
• Monitors several pumping operations simultaneously, aware of all pumping destinations and stops operations as necessary.
• Loads, unloads tanks trailers as required
• Fills out all paper work as necessary, i.e. Bills of Lading, Certificates of Analysis, cleaning verifications, logs, etc.

Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
Two to three years in the food and or beverage industry preferred. Sanitation experience preferred.

Computer Skills
Beginning Excel ability to adapt to customized company computer programs
