Summary

As a food service associate with Trinity Health, you will perform a variety of related duties in one of the following areas: Cafeteria, Catering, Cold Food Preparation, Trayline, and/or Dishroom.

Pay Starting at $15.76 or more based on experience.

Required Education

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.Ability to read and write required.

Experience

One year previous experience in a commercial restaurant or a food service department.

Responsibilities

Sets up and/or serves food to customersPerforms cashiering dutiesAssembles sanitized flatware for patient meal deliveryAssembles patient food trays and nourishmentsPrepare basic cold food itemsTransport trays to patient care areas

Working Conditions:

Works in assigned area under generally comfortable working conditions with exposure to splashing water, and cleaning agents. Occassional exposure to extreme working conditions (hot and cold).Standing 100% of the time.Ability to lift up to 30 pounds from floor to shoulder level or shoulder to floor.Ability to push carts containing food trays weighing up to 100 pounds.
