Main responsibilities:
As a Site Support Engineer you will be supporting the onsite client with desk side support including (not limiting to):
Due to the nature of our client's work the successful candidate will need to either hold or be able to obtain SC Security Clearance.
This is a full-time permanent position working 37.5-hours per week, Monday - Friday between the hours of 07:00 - 19:00; hours will be agreed at a later time with site lead.
This role is primarily site based at London Blue Fin, but may involve support for supported sites such within the vicinity where required as cover. Travel for these sites will be paid travel and driven based on service.
ESSENTIALS SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven trouble shooting skillsPrevious experience in a similar role with ITIL environmentPC/Desktop Support knowledge including Microsoft Windows XP/7/10/11 onwardsKnowledge and awareness of M365Excellent communicator both face-to-face & over the phoneAdministering Windows Share\\File permissions.Mobile connectivity (E.g. Android/IPhone)Knowledge of SCCMConfident break fix knowledge of HP Workstation, Desktops & LaptopsMust be able to deal productively with a high workload with minimal supervisionGreat attention to detailProactive mentality, and a will to improveDESIRABLE SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Microsoft Certification (MCSE/MCSA/MCP’s)Accredited in relevant manufacturers hardware qualification (HP)Basic Network Knowledge (Patching, tracing switch information etc.)Service Now Ticketing System ExperienceWhat We Will Do For You
