This position has been designated as remote within the Nashville, TN geography.

Job Summary:

Trane Technologies is hiring a Contracting Site Superintendent in Nashville, TN. As a Contracting Site Superintendent, you will be responsible for project oversight, implementation, management, and customer satisfaction for all assigned Turnkey and CS projects.  The Site Superintendent leads the project installation and subcontractor team through all facets of the project and is the onsite point of contact for stakeholders.  You will oversee a portfolio of projects that could contain both smaller and larger multi- building or complex Turnkey and CS projects.

Responsibilities

Responsible for timely completion, quality control and customer satisfaction of assigned projects.Plan and analyze assigned projects, validate schedules and project parameters and set procedures to accomplish system objectives, involving complex contracting applications. Site management and organizationScheduling coordination of all tradesIssuing necessary site documentation – Document control for design documents and drawingsEnsures adherence to health and safety regulationsInspect construction site occasionally to identify and remove potential safety hazardsPerforming equipment, material, and routine site inspections.Maintain daily labor and status logs for siteWeekly Site coordination and status meetingsWorks with Project manager for creation and tracking of RFIs and design changesResponsible for day-to-day on-site communication with customerCreate and revise project schedules including generating tasks, estimates, dependencies; milestones, CPM Analysis; Histogram and Risk Analysis.Review and have thorough knowledge of all subcontractor contract scopes, as well as standard terms and conditions.Supervise work of project assigned staff, subcontractors, and installers.Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and assigned staff. Establishes professional relationship and communicates with field support staff, customers, and their representatives. Interfaces constantly to maintain accurate status reports and project reviews.  Responsible for maintaining project as-built drawing redlines setsHigh percentage of time on active job sites is required, which may include outdoor work and/or work in mechanical/equipment rooms etc.  While on site, the employee may be exposed to variable weather conditions; moving mechanical parts; heights, and other variable environmental conditions based on location.Travel with occasional overnight stays required depending on project location

 Qualifications

Associates and/or technical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum five (5) years’ experience in commercial construction.HVAC installation knowledge/experience is preferredExcellent organizational and communication skillsMust be detail orientedAbility to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documentsExperienced and knowledgeable in contracting processes and subcontract management.Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited toDUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.

Compensation:   

Compensation Range: $60,000 - $100,000 / annually. Please Note: This position is overtime eligible.
