Description:Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Site Coordinator to join our team in Courtland, AL!
This position will report directly to the Production Operations Missiles and Courtland Site Director. In this role the candidate will support overall operations by ensuring coordination among internal and external teams, customers, and stakeholders. This role is responsible for tracking and synchronizing operations, identifying and addressing challenges, and fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Acting as a key liaison, the Site Coordinator plays a critical role in employee engagement, government and community relations, and strategic problem-solving to enhance site effectiveness.
This position is anticipated to work about 30% of the time with the Government Relations Team.
This position is ideal for a strategic and highly organized professional who excels at building and maintaining relations, managing complex issues, fostering engagement, and driving operational efficiency. The selected candidate should be a strong planner and problem solver who readily adapts to change, works independently, can balance the expectations of different leaders, and regularly exceeds expectations. They also must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills and will be required to engage effectively with all levels of leadership, employees, senior level visitors, and external officials and organizations.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Regularly represents LMS at functions, events, with organizations, and before governmental officials during and after working hours.
- Supports LMCO leaders and other employees in doing the same.
- Provides support in planning, coordinating, organizing, and executing internal and external meetings, events, and activities including with customers, employees, and visitors in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Juggle multiple priorities and requests and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Identify and concisely convey what needs to be done, what was done, and why it is important in reports, presentations, and other communications.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience planning and organizing projects/activities
- Experience interacting with stakeholders such as executive leadership, government customers, state and local officials, community organizations such as chambers of commerce, and/or educational partners.
- Experience organizing and executing meetings, visits, tours, customer engagements, and/or employee engagement
- Ability to obtain secret clearance
- Ability to travel occasionally
Desired Skills:

- Experience with Alabama officials, organizations, and partners
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Experience in operations, project management, and government and community relations

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
