Work you’ll do
The Site Security Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of comprehensive security strategies at the Japan GPS client site. This position manages all aspects of personnel and physical security, ensures compliance with Special Access Program (SAP) and Special Technical Operations (STO) requirements, and enforces security policies and procedures in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) and other directives. The Site Security Manager will coordinate staff requirements and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a secure and compliant environment. This role requires an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and oversee security strategies and programs in alignment with DoD other directives and best practices. Manage all aspects of personnel and physical security, including access control, visitor management, security training, and incident response. Create, maintain, and enforce security policies and procedures tailored to SAP/STO environments. Conduct security risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and recommend mitigation strategies for facilities, personnel, and operations. Coordinate security requirements and activities with leadership and other relevant agencies. Ensure compliance with all federal, DoD, and command-level security standards, including NISPOM, ICDs, and SAP/STO policies. Prepare and deliver security briefings, reports, and recommendations to senior leadership. Supervise, mentor, and train junior security staff and contractors as required. Oversee security incident investigations and reporting, ensuring timely and accurate communication with leadership and stakeholders. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving security threats, technologies, and best practices relevant to the mission.The team

Required:
Ability to be onsite 100% of the time in Japan Active TS/SCI Clearance Bachelor’s degree in security management, criminal justice, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 8+ years of security management experience Ability to travel 5-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.Preferred:
Certifications: DoD Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) or equivalent Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of DOD and Japan security policies, SAP/STO program requirements, and risk management frameworks. Preferred experience supporting DOD, Japan, and INDOPACIFIC regionThe wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,325 to $188,875.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
