Site Safety Inspector
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Site Safety Inspector to join a dynamic team overseeing multiple construction projects across New York City. This is a day-shift role (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) focused on ensuring safety compliance, conducting site inspections, and supporting the development of health and safety programs. Key Responsibilities + Perform routine safety inspections across various active project sites. + Prepare and submit detailed safety inspection reports. + Assist in the creation and review of Health & Safety policies and procedures. + Lead safety training sessions for on-site personnel. + Ensure compliance with OSHA, NYC Building Code, and other applicable safety regulations. + Provide on-site support to ensure all safety protocols are followed. Required Qualifications + Minimum of 4 years of experience in construction safety or site safety inspection. + OSHA 30 certification. + Valid SST Card. + Reliable transportation to travel between job sites across the five boroughs. + Strong knowledge of OSHA, NYC DOB, DEP, DOT, and other local/state/federal safety regulations. + Demonstrated experience conducting safety inspections and reporting. Preferred Certifications + CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) certification is a plus. + Additional safety training certifications are highly desirable.
