Job Title: Site Safety and Health Officer
Job Description

The Site Safety and Health Officer is responsible for managing and executing daily safety responsibilities on specific projects to ensure compliance with Federal Safety requirements.

ResponsibilitiesManage and perform daily safety responsibilities for specific construction projects.Ensure all projects are constructed in accordance with Federal Safety requirements.Collaborate with project teams to maintain safety standards and compliance.Conduct regular safety inspections and audits on project sites.Provide safety training and guidance to project personnel.Prepare and maintain safety documentation and reports.Essential SkillsConstruction management experience.Site safety expertise.OSHA 30 certification.Current EM385 safety certificate.5+ years of experience in Federal construction projects.Construction-related degree or equivalent experience.Additional Skills & Qualifications10+ years of construction experience without a degree.Experience with USACE, EHS, and safety management.Work Environment

The position involves fieldwork on various project sites, and an initial week at the corporate office to meet the management team and learn the company culture. The role includes working with notable clients such as VA, NASA, USACE, and NAVFAC. Employees receive a monthly per diem, truck allowance, cell phone stipend, 401k match after the first year, and a project bonus based on net profit. The headquarters is located in Tallahassee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $120000.00/yr.

Advon has 12 active projects and getting more awards soon. HQ in Tallahassee. Pay well for their traveling guys. Monthly per diem check ($3k+), Truck allowance ($750/month), Cell phone $85/month, 401k match at 4% after first year, Project Bonus per job based on net profit.
Work with VA, NASA, USACE, and NAVFAC.
