DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Lead TSE & SRE overseeing Business collaboration applications BAU and Projects. Supervise the North America team in product support and focus on enhancing operational efficiency and fostering a culture of technical excellence within multiple delivery teams. Tasked with enhancing the product and its features and setting design objectives and aligning them with business goals. Implement a system involves collaboration across various specialized areas, including programming, networking, hardware deployment, end-user support, and training. These areas of expertise may be internal or external to the information services department. Execute daily operational tasks and be available for on-call responsibilities while enhancing systems to ensure site reliability and optimal performance. Develop user-friendly tools for various user groups to streamline processes, such as automated test result provisioning and data visualization. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Telecommunications and Network Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Site Reliability Engineer, Solution Architect, Network Design Engineer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications and Network Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Site Reliability Engineer, Solution Architect, Network Design Engineer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: working with one programming language such as Python, Java Spring Boot, or .Net; Utilizing observability tools and practices, including white and black box monitoring, SLO alerting, and telemetry collection (Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk); deploying continuous integration and delivery tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform) and container orchestration (ECS, Kubernetes, Docker); Scala; and Linux.
