Job Duties: Solve complex problems related to infrastructure cloud services and build automation to prevent problem recurrence. Design, write, and deploy software to improve the availability, scalability, and efficiency of Oracle products and services. Design and develop designs, architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale distributed systems. Facilitate service capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning. May telecommute. (385.20178)

Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Site Reliability Developer -related occupation.

Position requires:

1. Cloud infrastructure;

2. Technical troubleshooting and core infrastructure technologies including server, compute, storage, network, authentication, and databases;

3. Review and edit automation code including Python, JavaScript, and Linux Shell and data objects written in JSON or XML;

4. Managing and tuning systems and applications with ability to review and validate system test output;

5. IP networking fundamentals and Data Center network architectures and standard protocols including BGP, OSPF;

6. Incident and Problem Management;

7. Trouble ticketing system including Jira, Remedy, Ocean, Oracle Service Cloud; and

8. Bitbucket, JQL and GIT
