Site Reliability Developer 3

The primary responsibility is to resolve complex issues related to cloud infrastructure services and automation, thereby preventing future recurrences. This involves designing, developing, and deploying software to enhance the availability, scalability, and efficiency of Oracle products and services. Additionally, it is necessary to create designs, architectures, standards, and methods for small to medium scale distributed systems. The role also entails facilitating capacity planning, demand forecasting, performance analysis, and system tuning.

A significant aspect of this position is ensuring adherence to architecture and security protocols, obtaining necessary approvals prior to software release. This includes conducting Detailed Design Review (DDR), Cloud Architectural Review (CAR), 3rd party, and API reviews to secure Oracle Health Release Management (OHRM) architecture approval. Furthermore, OHRM security approvals require Vulnerability Scans, Threat Modeling, Corporate Security Solution Assurance Process (CSSAP), and Risk Assessments. It is essential to continuously monitor and maintain these architectural and security measures, as each future release will necessitate the same OHRM approvals.

The new Site Reliability Developer (SRD) will be integral to the migration of Specialty Practice Management (SPM) databases from Sybase to Oracle Autonomous DB (ADB), encompassing resource planning, time management, execution of data migration utilities, and verification of completion. This role will be crucial in defining, designing, creating, and maintaining scalable applications within OCI, while also providing maintenance and upkeep of non-production, production, and development environments. Overall, the position will play a vital role in collaboration with the engineering team to develop and maintain scalable applications.

This is a remote based role in the US.
