At our Wabtec plant in Nýřany (Plzeň - north), we manufacture air conditioning units for rail vehicles. We are leaders in our field. We do not engage in mass production. We fulfill the specific wishes of our customers. Every year, we manufacture more than 4,500 air conditioning units, which are shipped all over the world. Our customers include companies such as Siemens, Hyundai Rotem, Alstom, Škoda, Stadler, and many others. For 20 years, we have been a stable employer with secure orders for several years in advance. 

How will you make a difference? Develop and implement quality management systems across the siteLead and manage the site quality team to ensure compliance with company standards and customer requirementsDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defectsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement preventive actionsConduct internal audits and prepare for external certification auditsManage customer complaints and coordinate appropriate corrective actionsDevelop and monitor key quality metrics and KPIsEnsure compliance with relevant industry standards (ISO 9001, etc.)Provide regular reporting to senior management on quality performanceLead quality training programs for site personnel

What do we need to know about you?Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management or related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in quality management, preferably in a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of quality management systems and standards (ISO 9001, etc.)Experience with quality tools and methodologies (Six Sigma, FMEA, 8D, etc.)Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to analyze data and implement process improvementsExperience managing and developing a team of quality professionalsStrong understanding of manufacturing processes and production environmentsProfessional level of English and Czech language, German very welcomedWhat can we offer?
