ABB Norway PAEN (Process Automation and Energy Industries) is involved in projects delivering electrical equipment and advanced control systems covering a broad field of applications, such as the oil and gas industry, subsea electrical systems, power from shore to oil installations, offshore wind, hydro power plants, onshore and offshore fish farms, and more.

Site/Project Coordinator

The Site/Project Coordinator group is a team under the Project Support Department, and part of the Energy Industries local business line within ABB Norway.

You will as a Site- and Project Coordinator be working with the following tasks  

To provide administrative support to Project Managers such asOngoing dialog with the customer, mobilize resources at customer premises and sort out relevant issuesObtain and control timesheets, travel expense reports and check invoice drafts according to mobilization plan and customer contractCreate procurement requisitions based on customer contract and agreementsMaintain communication flow between project team members and act as point of contact towards customerAlways to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations ie. Norwegian offshore regulation and Statens ReiseregulativResource handling, ie. assure correct competence according to customer’s needs, obtain required course certificates, create- and maintain rotation plansAlways promote contract and commercial awareness

Requirements and qualifications

Proactive and a self-starter who is team oriented and has good communication skillsUnderstanding the importance of great customer service and relationPeriodically manage high workloadWork independently, and ability to quickly get acquainted with new tasksFluent in Norwegian and English, written and oralGood knowledge of Microsoft programsMinimum 3 years administration experienceMinimum bachelor’s degree level education, can be replaced with relevant experience
