Site Planner (Iraqi Local National)

Role Synopsis:

The Maintenance Site Planner is accountable for safe and reliable planning operations by ensuring compliance with ROO Values and standards. The Maintenance Site Planner will be tasked with leading and delivering maintenance and short shutdown planning to ROO standards. In addition, the Maintenance Site Planner will liaise with technical maintenance specialists (Advisors) and Material Coordinators on delivery the scheduled daily and short/long term maintenance planning. The Maintenance Site Planner will be responsible for overall maintenance schedule, progress measurement, identify schedule issues then reporting & resolving them with Maintenance Lead Planner and Maintenance Coordinator.

Key Accountabilities

 Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.  Support the planning and execution of work in accordance with the Control of Work standards.  Responsible for generation of high-quality plans to allow efficient scheduling, assignment and execution of work.  Responsible for following Global Work Management process and standards with planning activities and monitoring the agreed upon KPI’s, taking appropriate actions to close the deviation from targets.  Prioritize and monitor maintenance needs of all water flood facilities and follow-up with MA’s for completions.  Monitoring and appraising the performance of the Contractors compared to agreed plans in the areas of progress and schedule control.  Plan materials requirements and other resources requirements for various maintenance and turnaround/shutdown activities to ensure the availability of the required materials (stock and non-stock) and support the timely execution of planned maintenance activities.  When necessary, reviewing and endorsing claimed progress reported by Contractors.  Coordinate with site execution team to prepare plans, scheduling of work orders with the required details to perform including steps, resources, BOM’s, estimated time, resources and completion date after approval of WR’s and pit-stops.  Support in the development of maintenance programs, task lists, plans, resource requirements and identify BOM’s, along with Maintenance Discipline Advisors and Maintenance Coordinators.  Coordinate with Production/Operations staff to identify/prioritize and schedule maintenance activities.  Ensure maintenance work is identified, planned, and documented in the CMMS (Maximo) system.  Prepare a weekly maintenance report for maintenance manager’s review.

Essential Education

2-year technical degree or HNC certificate, preferably BSc in an engineering discipline.

Essential experience and job requirements

2 years of relevant experience in maintenance planning, repairs, engineering, reliability or other plant experience and must have demonstrated strong capabilities.  Proficient in CMMS tools i.e. MAXIMO, etc.  Proficient in use of MS Office (EXCEL Spreadsheets, PowerPoint, MS Project etc.)  Proficient providing Reports and KPI Summary Sheets in Excel.
