Role Purpose:
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of facility management and integrated laboratory services. We are seeking a Site Operations Lead to oversee Laboratory Service delivery at the Johnson & Johnson facility located in Beerse, Belgium. The successful candidate will hold accountability for service delivery, health, safety, and environmental aspects while lead a diverse team (including Helpdesk & technicians) to ensure exceptional service to our client.
This position requires the individual to be on-site five days a week.
What You'll Do:
Lead a diverse team of supervisors, helpdesk and technical staff at the Beerse site, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Deliver services based on the contract scope with a full understanding of site-specific variances and requirements.
Drive operational control through metrics and KPI management, including customer satisfaction and service delivery performance
Collaborate with Johnson & Johnson's local lab representatives to understand operational needs and maintain strong client relationships
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies; conduct incident reviews and drive a compliant and safe culture aligned to both Client & CBRE needs
Oversee vendor performance to ensure that all on site contractual and service delivery standards are met for the Beerse location.
Inspire and develop team performance through recruitment, coaching, mentoring, and recognition, ensuring a skilled workforce at the Beerse site.
Utilise SAP and other CRM tools for asset management and operational efficiency
Implement and manage continuous improvement initiatives and innovation projects focused on enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of Beerse site operations.
Close collaboration with all internal CBRE’s Lab support teams including Master Data, Quality & Compliance, Finance and contract support.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. Quality, Business, Engineering, Chemistry).
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing in a regulated laboratory or pharmaceutical environment
Proven experience in operations management with strong leadership skills.
Strong team development, performance management and employee engagement skills to motivate the team and drive performance excellence
Knowledge of pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device industry products and services.
Experience with SAP or other similar CRM systems and good working knowledge of Excel
Familiarity with GxP regulatory environments and Health & Safety principles
Strong communication and analytical skills; proficiency in English and Dutch; additional languages are a plus.
Ability to lead change management programs and drive operational innovation tailored to the Beerse site.
