We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Services Officer (ESO) to join our team at St Ives Gold Mine. Reporting to the Coordinator: Emergency Services & Security, you’ll be critical to ensuring the health and safety of our workforce through first-class emergency response, first aid care, and training.

What you’ll be doing:
Delivering high-quality First Aid and Pre-Hospital Care across surface and underground operations for employees and contractors Leading emergency response during incidents and supporting crisis management processes Coordinating and delivering Emergency Response Team (ERT) training, including first aid refreshers and live scenario exercises Supporting security operations and site-wide emergency preparedness Building strong working relationships with external emergency services for mutual aid support Assisting in the development, review, and continuous improvement of site ESS systems and procedures
What you’ll bring:
Diploma in Paramedical Science (essential) Certificate III in Mines Rescue or Public Safety (essential) Current AHPRA registration Proficiency in Closed Circuit Regenerative Breathing Apparatus (essential) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (desirable) Cert IV in Training & Assessment (desirable) Proven experience delivering ERT and First Aid training Current manual driver’s licence
