Job Summary
The Site Manager directs the on-site implementation activities through completion of material handling automation projects involving a wide variety of equipment, machines, software, controls, and technologies

Responsibilities Provides on-site oversight of installation; serves as on-site contact and coordinates installation activities with the customer site managerAssists the project manager to develop installation budgets and schedules; informs project manager of all site activities, particularly those that affect costs, schedule, and resourcesPlans and monitors implementation according to the master schedule; reports on progress and issues and takes corrective action as neededAssigns resources to installation and testingLeads site coordination meetings, including preparing agendas and publishing minutesCoordinates the staging of project materials and equipmentEnsures safety procedures and local and state laws are followedTravels up to 90% Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a technical engineering field or equivalent experienceMinimum of 5 years of material handling industry experience, preferably with distribution centers and warehouse automation; construction experience a plusFork lift and OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certificationKnowledge of materials handling, warehouse management systems (WMS), fulfillment or distribution center operations, and supply chain logisticsKnowledge of automation projects involving machines, robotics, controls, and softwareUnderstanding of the project management processAbility to lead work teams and projects effectivelyAbility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced results-oriented environmentProblem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills and listening skillsStrong organization and collaborative skillsSelf-motivated and detail-orientedAbility to work weekends and evenings as required, particularly during project go-live eventsOptions Apply for this job onlineApplyShareRefer this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
