The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Site Manager to join our Project Delivery team in Melbourne. Key Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate site management and engineering activities on projects upwards of 10+ Million. Managing multiple subcontractors of varying disciplinesEnsure that the building, site services and processing equipment are installed and commissioned into full production to meet the client’s specifications, within the contract schedule, budget and quality in a safe manner.Facilitate innovation and improvements in Site Excellence procedures and Site Safety practices in accordance with the company and engineering strategiesPrepare and review drawings and plans for mechanical and electrical installationsLiaise with client, liaise with the direct builder and sub-contractorsObtain necessary materials or resources.Organise and supervise the inspection and maintenance of the installed equipmentCoordinate regular inspection of works for quality assuranceEnsure safe installation proceduresAbout You - What We Are Looking For
Successful candidates will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
5+ years experience as a Site Supervisor/Manager installing large capital projectsFormal qualifications in engineering highly regarded or from a trades backgroundExperience on construction sitesKnowledge of material handling equipment highly desirableMechanical and electrical aptitudeAbility to read and interpret drawingsThorough knowledge of WHS requirementsStrong communication skillsProven leadership skillsStrong computer skills in MS office productsFlexibility to travel Australia wideIf you are a motivated and experienced Site Manager who enjoys the autonomy and challenge of overseeing complex projects, then we would love to hear from you.
