The ADC Warehouse Manager is responsible for directing the daily activities of the warehouse and the shipping and receiving departments, including labor scheduling, supervision and the proper utilization of space, equipment, and manpower. Key responsibilities include staffing, warehouse operations, maintenance of the facility and equipment, implementation of safety, security, quality, housekeeping and sanitation programs, budgeting, and customer service. In conjunction with Safety & Health he/she is to ensure that compliance to the current Apria standards is maintained. 

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $26.02 - $43. The actual compensation offered may vary based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, education, and location.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

Ensure the necessary handling procedures (both physical and written) are followed accordingly, when applicable, documented in Quality Agreements, Service Level Agreements, and SOPs. 

Understand and adhere to local, State, and Federal regulations inclusive, but not limited, to OSHA, DOT, EPA, and other government agencies. Certification is required to handle any hazardous material(s). 

Keep up to date with Apria and country specific GXP standards and requirements. 

Work closely with other departments to deliver high level of service to customers. 

Develop and direct programs to ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation and utilization of the facility. 

Plan and schedule all distribution services including receiving, storing, and shipping, handling returned/damaged goods, maintenance, and administrative activities to ensure customer requirements are met in an efficient manner. 

Plan long-range labor needs based on sales forecasts and input from management. 

Develop a space utilization plan to meet prescribed cost and services standards. 

Direct the operations of the warehouse supervisory personnel to achieve prescribed objectives. 

Control and direct all transportation into and out of the warehouse to meet company standards. 

Performs other duties as required. 

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES  

This position manages all direct reports of the department and is responsible for the performance management, hiring, and discipline of direct reports within the department.  

Provides direction and guidance in work assignments.   

Provides timely coaching and feedback to staff.   

Ensures work assignments are completed accurately, efficiently, and timely.   

 

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS  

 

Education and/or Experience 

Must have three (3) years’ experience in a warehouse environment, one (1) in a supervisory role 

Management experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment  

High School Diploma Required 

Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor. 

In-depth knowledge of performance metrics.

Proven proficiency in an automated warehouse environment, with working knowledge of WMS technologies. 

 

Computer Skills 

Intermediate skills in Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, Word 

 

Mathematical Skills 

Intermediate level mathematical proficiency, with a strong ability to understand, interpret and develop spreadsheet data. 

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.  It also may require occasional lifting, carrying, walking, climbing, kneeling, bending/stooping, twisting, pulling/pushing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching above the shoulder. This position also may require the occasional lifting of equipment up to 50 lbs.
