Dowhas an exciting opportunity for aSite Logistics Senior Quality SpecialistinFreeport, TX. About You You will lead and execute all aspects of the quality program within or across multiple sites to enable each facility to profitably meet customer and product regulatory requirements related to the quality management system and related business quality strategies. Provide training, coaching, and overall guidance to enhance front line knowledge and accountability for quality across key roles. Promote and enable a customer-focused culture across multiple plants or within a single plant with complex interfaces and/or requirements. Requires expanded conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and broadens capabilities. You will also be responsible to: + Lead implementation and maintenance of the business/site quality programs which align to the Business Quality Strategy at the plant level. + Provide an effective interface between customers and the plant to ensure consistent high quality service to customers. Represent the “Voice of Customer” at the plant level. + Act as key plant interface to build or enhance cross-functional relationships across multiple sites or within a complex system, services and flow of information between the plant and the customer, Purchasing, Supply chain, R&D/TS&D, Product Stewardship, Commercial organization related to the product quality/regulatory requirements related to the quality management system. + Continually improve effectiveness of the quality management system and demonstrate influential leadership in the execution of improvement opportunities. + Generate and use quality data to drive product quality improvements. + Lead plant and/or site-level management of change activities related to product quality. + Ensure plant Operating Discipline system, procedures and guidelines meet quality system requirements, as appropriate and serve as element focal point for the quality requirements of the Operating Discipline Management System. + Train and provide guidance to plant and other roles that impact product quality on customer and product regulatory requirements, and the use of supporting quality tools and processes to achieve plant and business goals. + Identify and lead product quality improvement opportunities and problem-solving efforts at the plant level, as determined through data analysis, customer feedback, continual improvement projects, and other quality-related programs. + Establish and lead the plant quality system audit program and conducts internal and third party audits, in conjunction with Business or Site strategies, leveraging findings to drive continual improvement Qualifications: + A minimum of a Bachelor’s of Science degree or relevant military experience at an E6 rank/Petty Officer 2nd Class or higher required. A degree in Engineering is preferred. + A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required. + Experience with quality management systems and/or Operations preferred. + A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process. Skills: + Quality Management Systems (QMS): Implementing and maintaining structured systems to ensure products meet customer and regulatory quality standards. + Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working effectively across departments (e.g., Supply Chain, R&D, Commercial) to align on quality goals and resolve issues. + Training and Development: Educating and coaching team members on quality tools, standards, and best practices to build capability and accountability. + Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving: Using data to identify root causes, drive improvements, and implement corrective and preventive actions (RCA, CAPA). + Change Management & Continuous Improvement: Leading initiatives that enhance quality processes and systems while fostering a culture of ongoing improvement. ​Note: Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
