Site IT Services Manager

Job Description:

This is a cross-segment role responsible for all local infrastructure services across multiple sites in 3-6 countries, 3k devices (laptops/desktops) with 6 or more direct reports.

The role works closely with other service managers, leading activities at a regional or global level to drive increased adoption, collaboration, alignment & service improvements with business partners and segment leaders directly.

Enable growth through delivery of current and upcoming business demands, either related to organic growth and merge & acquisition.

To ensure high-quality, cost-effective site IT infrastructure service delivery across all business segments in the region while constantly driving process excellence and end user satisfaction.

What are we looking for?

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent.

Strong English verbal and written communication skills.

ITIL certification is preferred, but not essential.

10+ years’ experience in IT service management, IT project management or similar.

Experience managing IT change within a business context.

Experience dealing with people/customers at different levels (mainly General Managers and CFOs) of the business.

Good understanding of infrastructure technology and IT innovation.

3-5+ yrs of experience managing people in a highly exposed environment and ability to work under pressure.

Experience of managing large budgets & vendor relationships

What will be your key responsibilities?

Leading a team to deliver all on-site infrastructure services for multiple sites, including end user desk side support, asset lifecycle management & local application hosting

Ensuring all services are delivered within agreed SLAs

Driving continuous improvement of services to both increase efficiency & ensure alignment with changing business needs

Line management of a team of 4 or more direct reports, including remote associates

Accountability for several vendor-managed services

Planning & managing a budget of approx. $3.5m

Accountability for business growth demands within the region (new offices, mergers, acquisitions, warehouses, plant expansion, new plants, etc.)

Lead specific projects at regional and global level, within and out of SITS organization (x-functional)

Lead innovation through Design Thinking approach, for faster managerial decisions
