As a Site Installer, you will travel across the U.S. installing and finishing material handling systems for the food industry, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This is a direct-hire opportunity.
What We Offer: $26.00 – $28.00 per hour, based on experience Daily per diem during overnight stays ($50.00/day) $20.00 per diem for long daily shifts exceeding 12 hours Paid travel time at your normal hourly rate $0.70 per mile mileage reimbursement (when using personal vehicle) Hotel accommodations arranged by employer for overnight stays 70% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees Optional coverage for spouses and dependents 10 paid public holidays per year Paid time off: 2 weeks annually for first 5 years, increasing to 3 weeks after 5 years Supportive, team-oriented work environment Opportunities for skill development and career advancement What We’re Looking For: 3–5 years of welding and metal finishing experience – required 2+ years Mig/Tig welding experience - required High school diploma or equivalent required Welding or fabrication training/certification – preferred Construction or basic electrical/plumbing experience - preferred Valid, clean driver’s license and reliable transportation (truck preferred) Ability to pass drug and background checks Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly (up to 100 lbs. with assistance) Willingness to travel across the U.S. What You’ll Do as a Site Installer: Install and finish material handling systems at customer job sites nationwide Perform welding, metal finishing, assembly, and polishing tasks during installations Manage day-to-day activities on assigned installs with minimal supervision Interact professionally with clients during installation Conduct post-installation walkthroughs and complete required documentation Inspect delivered equipment and report damage per company policy Handle hazardous substances and disposal per site regulations When not traveling, assist in factory assembly and fabrication Maintain project records and escalate safety or quality concerns Work in construction atmospheres and adverse field conditions as needed
