Your Role:

The Head of EHS is accountable for developing and executing the company’s environmental, health, and safety strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance across operations. This role leads EHS risk identification and mitigation efforts, leverages data analytics to monitor trends, acts as the site security officer, and manages emergency response plans for critical incidents. Additionally, the Head of EHS fosters a safety-driven culture, setting performance metrics and ensuring effective integration of safety protocols and training across the organization. The role includes overseeing EHS function budget. This position is a full-time on-site position located in Danvers, MA.

 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

BS in Chemistry, Industrial Hygiene, Chemical Engineering, or closely-related degree. Certification/license in IH, Safety and/or Engineering as appropriate.7-10 years progressive industrial experience. Minimum of 8 years supervisory/management experience in environmental, health/safety, preferably in a large plant.Working knowledge of federal, state and local environmental, occupational health and safety regulations.Functional knowledge of environmental, occupational health and safety evaluation and control methods.Functional knowledge of advanced leadership, management and supervisory skills.Advanced knowledge of presentation and training development and execution.Functional knowledge of advanced incident (accident, spill, fire, etc.) prevention methods.Basic knowledge of occupational medicine practices.Database, Microsoft Suite, and spreadsheet skills.Effective oral and written communication skills.Well organized, able to handle multiple projects at one time.Ability to work in a clean room environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Proficient in Lean and Six Sigma concept and tools Up to 10 years of supervisory/management environmental, health and/or safety experience.
