Why this role
As a Site Engineer, you’ll be the final touchpoint in a hospital’s journey to a fully integrated Operating Theatre — the last person the customer sees. You’ll manage onsite installations from end to end, ensuring every project runs smoothly, meets the highest quality standards, and exceeds customer expectations.
Based in Sydney or Brisbane, you’ll travel Monday to Friday (no weekends), working on-site across ANZ with a supportive, passionate team behind you.
What you’ll do
Lead the installation and commissioning of cutting-edge integrated Operating TheatresAct as the site manager — oversee drawings, pick up errors, manage trades, and ensure seamless executionBe customer-facing, representing Stryker on-site and ensuring every interaction is professional and positiveReview and manage project documentation, materials, and drawings with precisionManage contractors onsite to ensure quality-first delivery (we value craftsmanship over headcount)Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and hospital staff to ensure installation successTravel regularly across ANZ, with most projects running Monday–FridayReceive full training and onboarding, including months of technical training in SydneyWho you are: Required experience
This role is for someone hands-on, detail-oriented, and confident in leading onsite work. If you love being in control of a project, spotting problems before they happen, and keeping quality high — this is for you.
Experience working in technical, hands-on environments (e.g., electrical, AV, or mechanical installation)Comfortable reading and reviewing technical drawingsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailProven ability to work independently on-site and manage trades and timelinesExcellent communication skills — able to interact with builders, hospital staff, and internal stakeholdersAvailability to travel Monday–Friday (ANZ-wide)Confident managing installations solo, but also a team player who thrives with supportPreferred experience
