Site EHS Leader
**Job Summary** If you are a EHS Professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity role for you! This opportunity as **Site EHS Leader** at our **Mahindra World City site, Chennai** has to Direct, organize and control all Environmental Affairs, occupational Health, and Safety functions, to support site manufacturing operations and sales & service function. **In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Develops and implements safety program to continuously improve all employees EHS awareness and EHS performance. + Drive management systems for compliance with regulatory and Global requirements. + Provides EHS review and support for safety functions, environmental, industrial hygiene, fire protection, and 5 S. + Lead investigation, root cause analysis and follow up prevention action of Safety incidents. + Identify and eliminate unsafe acts and unsafe conditions. + To organize EHS related training for all employees. + Lead and coordinate safety committee activities. + Responsible for all internal and external related EHS audit and inspection. + Other assignment by the company **Who You Are:** You are responsible for are planning, implementing, and enforcing an organization's Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures. Their primary objective is to create a workplace that is safe and healthy for people. **For This Role, You Will Need:** + More than 10 years working related experiences, at least 2 years of EHS Lead role working experience. + Proficiency in spoken and written English. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skill. + National certified safety engineer ISO14001 or OSHAS18001 internal auditor is preferred **Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:** Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Safety management, Environmental Science, Health or equivalent **Our Culture & Commitment to You** At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
