Who you are:
As Site Buyer (IMS) you are responsible for the development of a well-controlled IMS structure supporting efficient management of Safety, Quality, Cost and Compliance. Plan and drive IMS related projects mainly site level but also support regional projects and where there are synergies. The role is placed in the function Global Sourcing that is the sourcing partner to whole Alfa Laval Group. Your daily work is in an international environment networking in close cooperation with site stakeholders and sourcing teams in China.
About the job:
Drive IMS projects and sourcing commodities Identify preferred suppliers and commodity strategies Structure and maintain the scope of IMS spend categories. Process developments and implementations Drive and align regional cost down activities for meeting of targets. Review local purchase departments IMS work routines for suggestion of efficiency improvements and regional harmonization. Categorize and sub level the IMS supplier base from contracted for repeated purchase over long time down to one off purchase. Identification, evaluation, negotiation, contracting and implementation of key suppliers. Perform large spend/vital purchases for sites/factories including CAPEX/OPEX. Support development and implementation of region China IMS harmonizing strategy. Support and safeguard that contracts made by Global Indirect Purchasing (GIP) are followed. Monitor IMS supplier’s performance and take corrective actions as and when required. IMS business interface to Product Groups, Business Units, Sites, Factories and Global Sourcing departments. Responsible Commodity and supplier managements KPI performance Role responsibilities also include operational tasks POs etc

Experience in indirect material and service, with Capex experience Extra merit also from direct material sourcing Bachelor degree or above Commodity and supplier management Supplier audit experience is a plus Drive process and procedure developmentsSkills:
