A-Shift Refrigeration Maintenance Technician

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Refrigeration Systems Technician to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our refrigeration systems and related equipment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining optimal temperatures, controlling condensation, and performing essential maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and Record: Accurately monitor and record freezer temperatures to ensure optimal conditions.Condensation Control: Effectively manage and control condensation within the freezer.Maintenance: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on refrigeration equipment, including safety checks and executing showcase work orders in designated areas.Documentation: Accurately complete all job-related paperwork and documentation.Training: Must be able to complete all maintenance level training.Compliance: Maintain a clean-shaven appearance as required for safety protocols.General Plant Maintenance: Responsible for general plant maintenance and the operation of refrigeration systems while adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.Communication: Proficiency in reading and writing; ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels.

Work Schedule:

Fixed Monday through Friday shift with rotating Saturdays off.Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Must have a minimum of six (6) months of continuous work experience in maintenance with a single employer within the last twelve (12) months or currently attending/graduated from an industrial maintenance training program in the last three (3) years.

Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson have minimum waiting period of 180 days and a 3-time employment limit for this location.
