JOB SUMMARY
Key contributor to the Motorcycle SIOP team. Provide support for sales operations and order flow management. Prioritize, monitor and escalate issues related to MC shipments. Support process improvements, business optimization and new business growth. This role reports into the Sales Operations Manager, whom is responsible for the overall oversight and management of the MC Sales Operations Flow.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute the Sales Operations function of the MC SIOP team:
Analyze and prioritize orders, aged orders, demos, new dealer orders and all business critical inventory movements to maximize retail salesProvide business analysis, data and support to maximize business unit results and support new business initiativesOwn the ship execution to deliver the dealer ship goals and adjacent ship requirements.Support new product launch allocations and ongoing dealer order replenishmentReview and approve orders dailyMonitor aging order alerts and actionCollect key data inputs and place manual ordersModify and cancel ordersKey data entry to execute credit and rebillsMonitor shared inbox and respond to inquiries related to product availabilityPartner with logistics teams to obtain shipping timelines and arrange shipmentsDevelop basic understanding of order prioritization hierarchy and execute order prioritization activitiesSpecial event support (ex: rallies)Model year transition supportPartners with the broader SIOP team to support implement continual improvement opportunities:
Utilizes systems and processes to improve efficiencies & data accuracy across the value streamSupports key KPIs to drive improvementPerform special projects and other duties as needed; partner with cross-functional and divisional teamsSKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Four-year business degree preferred3-5 years experience in analytical role requiredMust possess excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skillsMust have the ability to handle pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyMust have strong PC software knowledge, advanced ability in Excel, Word and PowerPointMust have strong relational database skills and experience working in large data warehousesWORKING CONDITIONS
