Eaton’s GEIS division is currently seeking a SIOP Demand Planner.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $93750.03 - $137500.04 a year.

What you’ll do:The GEIS North American Demand Planner is the subject matter expert for Demand Planning in the SIOP process. The position manages a network Demand Plan across the North America region. This role will work closely with the Product Line Managers for 7-10 product lines (over 40k finished good materials), Sales and the rest of the end-to-end planning network to create an accurate demand plan within a 0-24 month time horizon at product line and sku level for a portfolio of $1.0b gross sales annually.
This role requires management of the demand planning processes for the assigned networks and product portfolio, planning for short, medium and long-term requirements.
Job Responsibilities
1. Preparation of a robust short to long term (0-24 month) demand plan each month consisting of a statistical baseline forecast, reviewed and qualitatively adjusted, enhanced with market intelligence from the commercial teams and approved by the relevant sales leadership.
2. Analysis of historical trends to generate forecasts in each monthly cycle. Collect and review sales forecasts on a regular basis, identifying trends on fast and slow-moving products. Maintain seasonality trends and impact of exceptional market changes: Promotional activity, Pricing strategies
3. Manage demand plan for all NPI and Phase-In/Phase-Out projects based upon inputs from the Commercial and Project Teams.
4. Present demand plan outputs in the relevant Network and SIOP team reviews.
5. Manage and monitor demand planning KPI’s at network levels, including but not limited to Forecast Accuracy, Bias and Stability.
6. Integrate and develop robust scenario planning into network demand reviews, incorporating risk and opportunities and ensuring the demand plans presented are based on live information.
7. Develop and manage a standardized approach to root cause analysis of top errors across the networks, ensure subsequent forecast corrections are documented and validated appropriately.
8. Actively develop the relationships with commercial and finance teams to build market knowledge over the 12, 18 and 24 months planning horizon. Ensure communication of volume and portfolio requirements are effectively communicated to the Supply Planning team.
