What to look forward to: The Simulator Technician will ensure quick response to customer requests for product support. The tasks performed will include but not be limited to system and device troubleshooting and problem evaluation as well as performing and/or supporting the necessary rework or repairs required to return the equipment to functional status. Primary Responsibilities Include:
Provide technical support to SNC customers in order to give quick problem assessment and corrections for the fielded Flight Training Devices, Mission Trainers, and desktop trainersResponsible for providing outstanding customer-centered quality support and service ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfactionResponsible for documenting all customer interactions and must implement and/or support implementation for hardware, software, or training issue changes according to approved SNC instructionsAbility to and responsibility to interface by all media (written, email, verbal, electronic, face to face etc.)Responsible for the setup, configuration, repair, break/fix, moves/add/changes and integration of new and existing computing hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies and peripheralsPerform preventative maintenance and setup for a variety of simulator related equipment and locationsPerform maintenance in accordance with applicable technical data, SOPs and FAA/AF regulations Document work being performed in turnover log of work carried over from the various shiftsEnsure availability of Simulator for training in compliance with requirements
