POSITION: (Simulation Engineer)

 What You will Do:

Job Requirements

Develop models of gas turbines, steam turbines and combined cycle power plantsTune simulator responses to match plant operating data and correct discrepanciesIdentify issues with plant design or control system configuration and communicate issuesConduct factory and site acceptance tests to demonstrate capability and completeness to customersProvide support to customers remotely and at customer facilities5 years of experience using 3KEYMASTER simulation software7 years of experience using GE's Toolbox software for Mark VI and/or Mark VIe Control System 7 years of experience using CIMPLICITY graphical softwareElectrical Engineering Degree 

 What You Will Bring:

BS in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering from an accredited university or collegeGood communication and interpersonal skills

 Pay Range: 110,000 to 120,000 a year plus benefits

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

 Work Requirements:

We offer flexible work options, including hybrid arrangements, to support the need of the role and align with company policies. This position is in Roanoke, VA, USA and is considered hybrid with 3 days required on-site. Alternatively, this position can be remote.

You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.  Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. 

 Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, 10-15% of travel is required.
