THE WORK
The Sikorsky Field Maintenance Manager will lead the Sikorsky field maintenance team, responsible for coordination of all elements of field maintenance, aircraft modifications, and aircraft delivery activities across the globe. This position will report to the Sikorsky Field Operations Senior Manager and will collaborate directly with the Global Sustainment Program Integrators and Sikorsky Line of Business (LOB) Program Managers to ensure all contractual terms and conditions of field maintenance efforts are fully understood and met.
The Field Maintenance Manager will also be responsible for the overall strategy, decision-making, project execution plans, and proposal efforts for the Field Maintenance Organization. Personnel responsibilities include managing individual contributors and first line leader(s), staffing to requirements, employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessments, work assignments, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
The Field Maintenance Manager will participate in program related meetings, support strategic inputs as a part of presentation planning process, consolidation of information and developing/reviewing reports and presentations. Also, in coordination with the Sikorsky Field Operations Senior Manager, develop and update a strategic roadmap for enhancing the Field Maintenance organization, partnering with key functional organizations such as Sales & Business Development, Engineering, Contracts, and Finance.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated and able to perform in a high pressure / high visibility environment as well as possess strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills. In addition, the position requires effective communication skills as frequent customer, inter-organizational and senior management interactions are part of the role.

Basic Qualifications:
- 7+ years management experience in both Commercial and US Government programs.
- Familiarity with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 145 Repair Station
- 5 Years of Maintenance Repair Overhaul (MRO) Experience

- Experience utilizing earned value management, risk management, integrated master scheduling
- Cross-functional team leadership
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
