Job Description

The Sign Designer is responsible for the entire process of defining sign specifications, visualizing / creating graphics, and producing logo illustrations while supporting the sales staff in bringing awareness to Maneri products within the industry.  This position is an active, hands-on role focusing on shaping the visual aspects of our products, while operating state of the art digital equipment.

Effectively communicate and understand Supervisor instructionsOperate and maintain digital printers and plottersUnderstand plans and requirements for each taskQuality Control managementManage ink and vinyl inventory levelsWorking in tandem with various areas and team membersAssisting in the manufacturing processUse of hand or power toolsInspection of work and ability to diagnose problems and correct themOther Duties as assigned by SupervisorPerform all other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or GED required2-5 years proven success in graphic designStrong presentation and communication skills, both written and oral, bilingual a plusExcellent computer and internet mining skills and experience with Adobe Illustrator and ComposerStrong customer orientation; experience developing strong partnerships by understanding and anticipating customer’s business needs; ability to qualify prospectsMust be results-driven, organized, friendly, tenacious, work independently and have a positive “make it work” attitudeHigh energy and self-motivatedTeam focused and support the company directionMust be able to sit for long periods of timeExtensive computer and telephone useCommitment to adhering to and promoting safe workplace practice
