SIED R&D Electrical Engineer Job ID: 5600 Location: Shanghai, CN, 201208 **What are my responsibilities?** + Good knowledge of Medium Voltage drives topology and system overview + Deeply understand the drive application and investigate the drive new applications, evaluate new applications standard and key functionality + Electronic design during the project execution, create design specifications, schematic, Bom, prototype assembly supporting, testing supporting and report + Develop innovative and cost-effective solutions for new and existing Medium Voltage drives + Deeply involved into verification validation test to verify the design to meet all requirements, such as functionality, reliability, serviceability + Coordinate and cooperate with other department, such as quality, purchasing, testing, customer service **What do I need to qualify for this job?** Techniques: + Master’s degree of power electronic with 1+ years of product design experience; Bachelor’s degree will need 3+ years’ experience, drive product experience is highly preferred + Electrical simulation software, e.g. ANSYS Simplorer, Matlab etc. + Good knowledge of power electronic topology (2-level, 3-level, M2C, cascade multilevel, AFE… etc) + Have experience in analog circuit and digital circuit design, familiar with basic controller functions + EMC principal knowledge and related standard + Familiar with related drive standard such as IEC 61800-5-1 + Good oral and written English skills. + Desire for challenge, new technology and self-improvement + Passionate about power electronics Methodologies: + Excellent interpersonal, networking, communication, presentation skills + Excellent time management skills Apply now »
