Do you have a Class 1 licence? Are you an experienced Shunter? Are you looking for a full-time job? XPO is currently recruiting for a full time, permanent HGV Class 1 Shunter at our site in Edlington, Doncaster. You will be working 40 hours per week Monday – Friday on a 1400 to 2200 shift.

Pay, benefits and more:

 

We’re looking to offer an hourly rate of £16.31 per hour, and overtime at £24.47. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday, access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.

 

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

Move vehicles around the site ensuring they are in the right place at the right time Take vehicles to the garage for MOT or repair Assist in load strapping and securing Play a key role in our site team ensuring our operation runs as smoothly as possible

What you need to succeed at XPO:

 

Experience in a similar driving/shunting role is highly desired A Full UK driving licence (with C&E entitlement) No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DD or DR endorsements. Flexibility with working both days and nights is essential.
