Shpper Marketing (Secondment)

Job Description :

As Shopper Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and completing shopper strategies that translate brand purpose into powerful moments of conversion across retail environments — from hypermarkets to convenience stores, from on-trade outlets to e-commerce. This role plays a key part in ensuring our brands show up brilliantly where purchase decisions are made.

A critical success factor in this role is the ability to demonstrate the shopper platforms, toolkits, and insights developed by Diageo’s global and regional teams, adapting them smartly to the South LAC context. By doing so, we can drive efficiency, consistency, and scale, while focusing local efforts on the key commercial and cultural nuances that make our market unique.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement shopper marketing strategies aligned with brand plans and customer priorities to drive category growth and market share.

Translate brand positioning into compelling in store and online shopper experiences, demonstrating insights to influence shopper behavior.

Collaborate cross functionally with Sales, Brand Marketing, Customer Marketing, and external agencies to co create activation plans.

Monitor and optimize value of shopper marketing investments through M&Es.

Lead the shopper journey: identify moments of influence, barriers to purchase, and opportunities to enhance conversion across channels.

Lead agency partners for design.

Support innovation launches with tailored channel activation plans.

Lead customer joint business planning for shopper initiatives with key customers.

Stay up to date on industry trends, shopper behaviors, and competitive activities to inform strategy.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics or related field (MBA a plus).5+ years of experience in Shopper Marketing, Customer Marketing, Brand Management or Category Management in a CPG environment.Demonstrated experience managing customer activations and omnichannel campaigns.
