Having the right forecast allows LEGO Group to improve consumer sales and minimize excess inventory in own DC’s and customers, ensure product availability in right place in right quantity and right time. **Core Responsibilities:** + Building upon a statistical forecast and using the LEGO demand planning system (LEGO Metis) and tools, deliver an accurate monthly demand plan for shipments for max 9 month short term demand planning horizon (bottom up, top down) + Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create highly reliable forecasts for new product launches and promotions and to evaluate the likely impact of commercial investment + Be in charge of launch and promotional forecast, create tools and monitor Novelties consumption tracking + Develop forecast based on insights received from other teams and statistical models provided by the systems, drive benchmark analysis. + Monitor the BU performance and initiate corrective actions if necessary based on the findings + Be an active participant of S&OP process and facilitate key meetings together with BU DP team + Analyze system development, regular calls with DF teams, new user requests tracking, creation of system bugs as a LEGO Metis superuser **Play your part in our team succeeding** The role reports into the BU Heads of Operations. The Operations Department is the owner of the overall flow of goods to the Market place. This department is focusing on the analysis of the current performance and trends, sending demand signals to the LEGO Group regional supply chain and production sites, driving the flow of goods to the customer shelves and eComm web sites. **Do you have what it takes:** + Work experience within Demand Planning, Replenishment or Inventory Planning, Category Management, Business Analytics or related experience in consumer goods, pharmaceutical goods or related industry + Exhibits very strong business sense, communication and presentation skills + High proficiency with Excel, SAP, APO, SAP BW, demand planning systems, Power BI + Experienced creator of automated tools and dashboards in PowerBI and Microsoft Excel using SQL, Power Query, VBA and other automation methods + An ability to master complexity + Be able to communicate in a way that makes the complex simple + Demonstrable influencing skills + Be able to assimilate multiple data inputs and determine a most likely outcome + Deadline driven and results orientation + Demonstrates exceptional analytical skills, ability to proactively identify and root-cause issues and deliver compelling insights and fact-based recommendations + Effective written and verbal communication skills in Czech and English **\#li-ph** Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
