Why does this role exist?
This role supports the smooth operation of the client’s Shopify e-commerce store and executive team by managing daily store updates, content audits, and quality assurance testing. The position is essential for maintaining an exceptional online customer experience and operational excellence. The successful candidate will also provide executive support by managing calendars, communications, and project coordination across internal and external teams.
The Impact you’ll makeExecutive Support\nManage executive calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics\nMonitor inboxes and assist with communications and follow-ups\nPrepare meeting notes, presentations, and internal documentation\n
Shopify Store Management\nUpdate product pricing, descriptions, and website headers\nConduct regular content audits and make site-wide copy changes\nCreate or modify pages and collections using Shopify’s admin dashboard\n
Quality Assurance & Testing\nPerform QA checks after product launches, pricing updates, or site changes\nTest customer journeys including add-to-cart, checkout, and confirmation emails\nIdentify and escalate bugs or UX/UI issues for resolution\n
Coordination with Developers and Agencies\nServe as point of contact for developers, designers, and marketing partners\nTrack open projects, requests, and deadlines using tools like Asana, Trello, or Notion\nDocument and communicate requirements and QA feedback clearly\n
General Operations\nMonitor store performance and flag irregularities\nAssist in pulling simple performance reports or customer data\nHelp document SOPs and improve internal workflows\n
Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseRequired:\nMinimum 2 years in an executive assistant, e-commerce coordinator, or similar operations role\nFamiliarity with Shopify or similar CMS/e-commerce platforms\n\nCoding experience (basic HTML/CSS preferred)\nExperience in e-commerce management and QA testing of online stores\nStrong organizational and communication skills with high attention to detail\nWFH Set-Up:\nComputer with at least 8GB RAM, an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and up.\nInternet speed of at least 40MBPS\nHeadset with an extended mic that has noise cancellation and a webcam\nBack-up computer and internet connection\nQuiet, dedicated workspace at home\n\n\nYour Superpowers:\nProficiency in Shopify admin dashboard and CMS content management\nBasic coding skills (HTML/CSS) to modify pages and troubleshoot issues\nKnowledge of QA testing methodologies for e-commerce platforms\nExcellent time management and multitasking abilities\nStrong communication and collaboration skills for coordinating across teams\nYou should apply if… \nYou thrive in fast-paced, remote-friendly environments and can juggle multiple priorities\nYou are detail-oriented and committed to delivering flawless customer experiences\nYou enjoy supporting executives and managing operational workflows\nYou have a proactive attitude towards identifying and solving problems\nYou value clear communication and teamwork\n\nWhat to expect...
