Job Description
The position involves working alongside a main industrial painter, reporting directly to the Production Supervisor. Responsibilities include preparing, painting, and inspecting TWG products, ensuring high-quality finishes.
ResponsibilitiesPaint and coat surfaces of machines, manufactured products, and work areas using required techniques.Prepare parts, pieces, and assemblies for painting according to specified processes.Mix coatings as per manufacturer's specifications.Maintain cleanliness of deburr, paint equipment, and work areas.Deburr, wash, and pre-paint machined parts for storage.Report quality issues to Quality Control and supervisor.Maintain accurate and timely transactions in the ERP system.Train other employees and assist in other departments as directed.Follow procedures to prevent problems, document quality issues, and contribute to solutions.Verify implementation of solutions and control further processing when problems are identified.Protect the environment and prevent pollution by analyzing and identifying areas for correction or improvement.Essential SkillsIndustrial and manufacturing experience.Experience working in a shop setting.Ability to lift 50 pounds.Skills in deburring, polishing, and grinding.Additional Skills & QualificationsComfortable with physical activities such as standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, bending, lifting, and carrying.1-3 years of experience as a shop helper or general laborer in manufacturing.Great attitude and safety consciousness.Excellent attendance record and references.Why Work Here

Work Environment
The workplace is an 80,000 square foot shop with clean and bright conditions, comprising half machine shop and half assembly. It includes three paint booths, an enclosed welding shop, and a lunch and training room. The environment is environmentally conscious, well-ventilated, and employees work closely with a lead and supervisor. Personal protective equipment is provided, including ear protection, gloves, and respirators for painting. Employees must bring their own coveralls, which are replaced once permanent.
