Job Title: Shop Foreman

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shop Foreman with specialized expertise in Cummins engines to lead and oversee a team of 7 technicians. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage daily shop operations, ensure high-quality service and repairs, and foster a productive and positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate the activities of 7 technicians in a fast-paced shop environment.Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Cummins engines and related systems.Ensure all work is performed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company standards.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to technicians.Monitor workflow, assign tasks, and manage priorities to meet deadlines.Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts usage, and labor.Communicate effectively with management and other departments regarding shop performance and needs.Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.Qualifications:Proven experience working with Cummins engines (certifications preferred).Strong leadership and team management skills.Minimum of 3–5 years in a supervisory or foreman role in a mechanical or diesel shop.Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.Benefits:Competitive hourly rate - $34/$35Consistent weekday schedule - M-F 7 AM-3:30 PMOpportunity to lead a skilled team in a supportive environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
