Our client, a transportation construction company is seeking a Shop (Mechanical & Diesel) Foreman to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on manager with a no-job-too-small mentality who will focus on heavy repairs and preventative maintenance.
 
Job Title: Shop Foreman (Mechanical & Diesel)
Location: Sumner, Washington
Pay Rate: $40-$50/hr.
 
What’s the Job? 

Train and develop mechanics on a 2nd shift (from 4pm-2am) Perform heavy equipment repairs, including excavators, trucks, backhoes, etc. Perform maintenance on light to medium trucks through hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic diagnosis DOT and LOF inspections 
What’s Needed?  Minimum of 2 years of recent people management experience Valid driver’s license, CDL Class A highly preferred 5+ years experience as a Diesel Mechanic—not just preventative 5+ years air and hydraulic brake repair, and manual transmission diagnosis and service experience
