Job DescriptionEnsuring all packages submitted for shipment during the day are done using the most economical meansShipments must reach recipients by the dates requestedEnsuring received items are distributed internally the same day as receivedApplies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriateDemonstrates and promotes the company visionRegular attendance and punctualityEnsuring all packages for shipment are ready to go, packaged, and labeled properly by deadlinesCheck received items against the packing listCheck in received items in the purchasing system.Assistance in making sure all items received during the day are distributed by end of dayAbility to assess situations and prioritize tasks to meet requirementsWork with shipping vendors to enhance shipping processUse a forklift, as needed Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient mannerPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications
