Ralliant
The Shipping and Receiving Team Leader will be responsible for leading the logistics team, organizing and prioritizing all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure that products and materials reach their destinations on time, and optimizing cost within the logistics function.
**Essential Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities:**
+ Coordinates the activities of all shipping and receiving associates.
+ Coordinates logistics and accurate receiving of incoming materials from vendors.
+ Supports the logistics team in organizing and prioritizing customer deliveries to ensure products are received by
+ the deadline listed on the order.
+ Coordinates with other business stakeholders to ensure accurate visibility of completed orders flowing in from
+ production to effectively plan logistics team workload.
+ Ensures that transportation modes, frequency of transports and routing are as efficient and as cost effective as
+ possible.
+ Assists in the selection of carriers based on qualifications and performance evaluations
+ Ensures compliance with all governmental regulations regarding logistics (for internal and external supply chain stakeholders).
+ Ensure that the appropriate paperwork for all shipments is created, distributed and filed according to customer expectation, company polices and industry standards.
+ Ensures that logistics employees are trained appropriately on all relative company policies and procedure and ensures that they understand their roles in the global logistics strategy of the company.
+ Perform duties in accordance with established quality standards.
+ Perform such similar, comparable or related duties as may be required.
**Experience / Qualifications:**
+ 5 years Shipping/Receiving experience or equivalent
+ Knowledge of Oracle business system would be advantageous Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience in leading a Team
+ Ability to make informed decisions in a fast paced environment. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Action and results oriented.
