Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our Shipping and Receiving team in our Amherst, WI location! As a key member of the organization, the Shipping and Receiving Coordinator will support transactions related to incoming and outgoing manufacturing and distribution operations. You will work with a team in handling the receipt and delivery of all incoming shipments while ensuring accuracy of outgoing shipments. IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE: 

Responsible for the receipt of all incoming shipments and their delivery to the respective project or recipient Ensure all shipments received are properly entered in the electronic receiving records system and properly communicated to appropriate parties Resolve disposition of unidentified shipments received by checking with Purchasing and Project Management personnel Monitor project schedules to identify and plan for ship dates. Package and prepare pallets, control panels, and components for transport Arrange for crating as necessary by obtaining quotations, procurement, and scheduling Prepare packing lists for all shipments Arrange for on-site delivery and pickup of large and heavy equipment via LTL/Dedicated trucks Load trucks- Use of Forklift and / or pallet jack is required Respond to inquiries regarding the receipt status of parts Track shipments and keep project managers informed of their progress Handle Warranty claims / returns for non-conforming materials Contact suppliers, carriers, and division personnel concerning losses, shortages, and damaged or delayed shipments. Prepare and submit claims to carriers and notify Purchasing of any further contact with the supplier is required. Use business systems for planning and tracking of parts Perform other duties as needed

 FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED: 

High School diploma 2-3 years of relevant experience in either product fulfillment in a commercial, industrial or another similar high mix, medium volume environment Intermediate digital literacy including Windows and Microsoft Office Solid interpersonal and communication skills Legal authorization to work in the United States
