Our client, a dynamic player in the logistics industry, is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping/Receiving Clerk, you will be part of the operations team supporting efficient material handling and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Location: Salem, OR

Pay Range: $20/hr

Shift: Monday–Friday

What's the Job?

Spend approximately 50% of the day performing shipping tasks, such as preparing outgoing orders and handling logistics paperwork. Spend the remaining 50% of the day receiving incoming materials and stocking shelves in an organized and accurate manner. Gradually grow into order picking responsibilities as familiarity with the inventory, product placement, and part identification increases. Collaborate with team members to maintain inventory accuracy and efficient material flow. Ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of materials to meet quality and safety standards.

What's Needed?

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous warehouse or shipping/receiving experience is a plus. Willingness to learn and grow into additional responsibilities. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
